Beers brewed with passion (beer tours)

We offer a selection of beer/brewery tours out of Dinant.

Some examples:

A one day guided beer tour around Dinant.
09:00 We leave Dinant for a visit to the Abbey of Maredsous, founded in 1872 by Benedictine monks, where you get time to visit the abbey and church, or to walk in the picturesque valley of the Molignée. You also can opt to relax at the Saint-Joseph Center where you can taste the traditional specialities of the abbey: bread, cheese, beer and other local products.
We than move on to the Brasserie des Fagnes. In this single place are gathered: a brewery of the 18th-19th century, a modern brewery in activity and a vast tasting room where you will have the possibility to taste one of the beers brewed on the spot, as well as many local products.
13:00 From there, the tour will take us to the Brasserie du Bocq, founded in 1858, for a guided tour (starting at 14:00) followed by a glass of beer of your choice.
We will round off the excursion, via the Abbey of Leffe, by the visit of the Brasserie La Caracole at 16:00. We will have a guided tour of this picturesque artisanal brewery, followed by a tasting of 4 beers with character: Troublette, Saxo, Caracole and Nostradamus; all brewed on an old wood fire, just like the founders of the brewery did it in the 18th century.
We expect to be back in Dinant around 18:00.

Another example of a guided beer day tour out of Dinant:
the Trappist Abbey of Chimay (with tasting in the Poteaupré tavern), the Brasserie des Fagnes (visit, quick lunch & tasting) and the Brasserie du Bocq (guided tour starting at 17:00, followed by a tasting).
