The beaver is back in Belgium !

Visit the Country of the Beavers and experience the genius of "the architect of the rivers", "the engineer of the ecosystem" creating numerous wetlands.

The beaver is a developer of the territory, a regulator of water, a maintenance engineer of the riverbanks and a guarantor of the biodiversity.

With its dams, the beaver creates natural lagunages. The waterplants which develop spontaneously in reserves of beavers purify polluted water. True "purification stations" for gray water!

Moreover, it strongly marked our culture through the toponymy of the cities, villages, localities, rivers and woods, as well as the tales and legends.

That these beavers are only a body without spirit,
Never one will be able to force me to believe it.
