The Route of FireMosan excursion "From coal to crystal"

PROGRAM OF THE DAY TOUR:- 08h00 : Departure from Dinant- 10h00 : Guided visit of the coalmine in Blegny (the last one that closed in the Liège region, in 1980): The visit starts with a film that tells you the fabulous story of the "black stone", from -300 million years up to today. Thenafter, put on a coat and set a helmet straight, and descend with a guide to the galleries with the mining cage down to –30 and –60 meters, discovering the fascinating world of the coalmine workers in this authentic coalmine, including the noisy machinery used to knock down the coal and the harsh working conditions of these men. Back to the open air, you will follow the route of the coal to the washing and sorting machines. An exceptional experience !! If some people in the group prefer not to descend, this visit can be replaced by a visit on their own to the mine museum.- 12h00 : Transfer with your coach to the embarking quay in Visé (± 8 km), or by touristic train on wheels (against supplement).- 12h30 : Cruise on the Meuse river on board the beautiful ship "Pays de Liège", from Visé to Seraing, via Liège. Passage of the locks of Monsin. Three-courses lunch « menu du terroir » served on board:
